A propos de cet article

[CHILDREN'S]. Dalt Wonk. "French Quarter Fables, Volume I." New Orleans, LA: Luna Press. Printed in Iceland by ODDI, 2018. Third printing. English language. Softcover with gray card wrapped with embossed red illustrations and black titling. Eighteen verse fables about New Orleans with full-color illustrations and an introduction by their author. 12 1/4 x 10 inches. 22 oz. [10], 110 pp. A few minor spots on front wrapper. Text clean. Near Fine. ISBN: 9780989609531. "Little animals wearing clothes. Hard to resist in their bittersweet comic struggles. But all were written in the French Quarter and inspired by its singular, suggestive atmosphere. Fables are one of the most ancient ways of talking about life. 'French Quarter Fables' shows how fresh, original, and entertaining they still can be.".…
