À propos de l?auteur: William Pratt was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma, in 1927, and earned a Bachelor's degree in English in 1949. At Vanderbilt University for graduate study, he received an M.A. in English in 1951, and a Ph.D. in 1957. Since 1968 he has been Professor of English at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, publishing essays, reviews and translations in books and periodicals. He has lectured widely on Modern Poetry in the United States and Europe.
