Welcome to Looe Bookshop. The history of my bookshop is colourful. I am still trading at The Old Hall Bookshop in East Looe and soon will be trading at West Looe Bookshop, 18th century building located on the other side of the river, on tiny backstreet - Princes Street. When The Old Hall building will be sold, you will find my bookshop just in West Looe. In June 2019 I reopened the only bookshop in Looe - The Old Hall Bookshop, in association with the owners of the shop and building Sam and Jo Hawes (Bosco Books). The Old Hall Bookshop is known to been opened in 1974. The building originally was 19th century Chapel and Sunday School, on Shutta Road, in the historic Fishing town of Looe, in South East Cornwall. Open mostly Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays (12.30 to 16.30) but days and times may change. After my new bookshop in West Looe will be officially opened, I will be trading at The Old Hall Bookshop, East Looe probably just one day a week, till the building is sold or close it for good.
