Kia Abilay was born a Rainbow Child—a child who comes after the loss of another child. Join Kia Abilay on her spiritual journey, through a Catholic upbringing, to a career as a manager of hotels, to a convent, to 13 years of Healing Touch practice at Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, New York. It’s a journey that spans from Hawaii to Healdsburg, California, to Kingston, New York. Along the way, countless clients have been touched by her gifts and found healing in messages relayed by Kia.
A high school football star dies on the practice field. Kia sits with the family and channels the lost son, bringing solace to the mother too grief-stricken to face the funeral. “Walk the lands,” the message comes—how mother and son had always spent time together.
“There’s a piece of lumber on your derriere” is a funny message to receive. But when shared with a client, the man on the table, in his forties, breaks into tears. His father used to strike him with pieces of wood.

These are activities to find your centeredness, to let go of anxiety, and to hear the voice of the Divine, however it reaches you, however it speaks. They include: playing chimes, morning reading, somatic body scanning, and prayer.
