Walk the path of the Buddhist and reach the pinnacle of human achievement - the realization of Truth. With warmth and simplicity, "Don't Give Up Until You Do" introduces this experience-based discipline in which the path itself is the goal. Dr. Fred Meyer, a practising Buddhist for over thirty-five years, shares his wholehearted approach to attaining realization and offers guidance on central Buddhist concepts - from the spiritual power of humour to the dangers of possessive love to the challenge of releasing attachment. Stories of enlightenment further illustrate the importance of cultivating resolve, meditation as a means for shedding the ego, serenity of the natural world, and the true nature of reality. Filled with practical Buddhist wisdom, this book shows that we can all attain realization by approaching the path with a pure heart and total trust.
