In a world obsessed with becoming, Misty's Shed, Let Go of the Old "You": Live a Moment's Joy is a radical act of unbecoming. It is not a book in the traditional sense-it is a living, breathing force of nature, a soul-storm disguised as prose, a sacred invitation to strip away everything that is not truth. Misty doesn't promise that shedding will be easy. She honors the grief, the discomfort, the uncertainty that comes with transformation. She does not offer comfort-she offers confrontation. She does not hand you a map-she hands you a match.
This work is a poetic rebellion against the quiet tyranny of delay. It speaks to the part of you that knows joy is not a distant summit to be earned, but a present pulse to be remembered. Misty's words do not ask for permission-they demand presence. They reach into the marrow of your being and ask the question you've spent a lifetime avoiding: Who are you beneath the name, the wounds, the roles, the stories? Who are you when you stop performing and start listening? Who are you when you shed?
To read this book is to be undone. To be unraveled. To be rewritten by the light of your own truth. It is for the edge-walkers, the wild-hearted, the ones who feel the tremble in their chest and know that time is not a luxury-it is a summons. Misty does not ask you to wait. She asks you to rise. To shed. To live. Not next year. Not next lifetime. But now.
Because only the truth is permanent-And joy is real. Both are waiting for you-not in the pages of this book, but in the space, it opens within you. Misty's work is not a destination-it is a detonation. A sacred fire. A mirror made of lightning. And once you've seen your reflection in it, you will never be able to unsee it again.

À propos de l’auteur
Misty was born in the heart of an oriental family, where love was a silent whisper rather than a boisterous declaration. The author s journey was marked by numerous challenges, she had to reconcile the teachings of her upbringing with the new insights she gained. Beyond the profound loss of her mother and eldest sister, she faced the trials of navigating a world where emotional expression was often subdued. This cultural backdrop made it difficult for her to openly share her feelings, leading to a sense of isolation and longing for deeper connections. In her quest for inner peace, she encountered the harsh realities of rejection and self doubt. Yet, in the depths of her despair, she embarked on a spiritual journey, a rendezvous with destiny that would change her life forever. Life, however, has a way of testing the strongest of hearts. It was during this journey that she encountered the divine presence of the goddess. This celestial romance was not one of fleeting passion but of enduring love and profound connection. The goddess whispered healing words, wrapped in the soft embrace of the wind, and the author found solace in these divine murmurs. Through her life experiences, she discovered that the goddess s love was not something external to be sought but a radiant light within herself. As she delved deeper into her spiritual journey, she had to reconcile the teachings of her upbringing with the new insights she gained. This delicate dance between honoring her heritage and embracing her personal growth was a constant source of tension and Growth. With a heart now brimming with self-love and compassion, the author penned her story, Romance with Goddess: a rendezvous with destiny. And so, with a twinkle in her eye and a smile that spoke of hard-won peace, Misty continues to inspire, reminding us of all that even in the quietest of families, love can be found in the most unexpected places.

Description de la boutique
We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first visit or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book. We are a company who put our customers at the centre of everything we do as we understand the importance of reading because once you learn to read, you will forever be free. There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours that we are yet to explore, which is why we will forever inspire curious minds.…
