Association copy: a bookplate on the front pastedown attests to the prior ownership of James Hastings (1852 - 1922), a well-known Scottish Presbyterian minister and biblical scholar who founded The Expository Times, a still extant academic journal of Biblical studies, theology, and ministry. Otherwise, a very good copy - clean, bright and unmarked. Scarce. ~BBB~ The author, Rev. H.
