A propos de cet article

This compact reference guide, by respected expert John Walter, provides descriptions, technical specifications and illustrations of the machine guns used in the WWI and WWII, some of which, such as the 0.50 Browning are still in service today. Many were produced in huge numbers, though it is difficult to provide accurate totals. The US is believed to have made 2.6 million guns between the attack on Pearl Harbor (7 December 1941) and the end of the campaigns in the Far East (August 1945); German output totaled 1.2 million; and Soviet claims suggest that more than 1.5 million machine guns of all types and calibres were made during the Great Patriotic War. By contrast, between 1939 and 1944, Britain produced less than a million machine guns, concentrating instead on submachine-guns. Walter details and compares weapons produced in these countries and others, including Denmark, Austria-Hungary, Italy, Romania, Yugoslavia, Poland and Turkey. 8 1/2 X 6 inches, hardcover with dust jacket, illus, 144 pages. …

Description de la boutique

"Gun Books, and other titles for those who value freedom" We're a small family run firearm reference publishing company, and retailer. You can expect good old fashioned customer service and packaging that is second to none. G.S.B. stands for Gun Show Books, and that's how we started well over 30 years ago. First we sold at Gun Shows, then (before the internet came along) we started selling mail order firearm reference by catalog. In 1998 we launched our first independent web-site. Today we no longer go to gun shows but instead sell mail-order only through our two websites, and all the other venues like eBay, Amazon, and Abebooks. We're fairly knowledgeable about the books we sell, and firearms in general. You can email us with questions about our books, and though we can't guarantee we'll have an answer for you, we can guarantee you'll get a response, and your orders will always be filled promptly and get the personal attention that everyone deserves. Best Regards Bruce & Lori Rukstales G.S.B. Publishing…
