Hudibras sets out with his squire, in the manner of Don Quixote, to inforce abuses of the laws against the popular sports and amusements in Cromwell's time. A clean copy in contemporary full panel calf binding which is worn with boards showing through in some places with free endpapers but without pastedowns. The title has become a synonem for mock-heroic. Thick book.
