À propos de l’auteur
Professor Walter Leal Filho (BSc, PhD, DSc, DPhil, DTech, DL, DLitt, FSB, FLS, FRGS) holds the Chairs of Climate Change Management at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (Germany), and Environment and Technology at Manchester Metropolitan University (UK). He directs the European School of Sustainability Science and Research (ESSSR) and the Inter-University Sustainable Development Research Programme, the largest network of universities specifically focusing on research on matters related to sustainable development. Professor Walter Leal Filho has over 30 years experience on sustainable development research and in excess of 800 publications to his credit.
Dr. Amanda Lange Salvia is a Project Manager and Researcher at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences in Germany, where she serves as Director of the FTZ-NK Sustainable Development Networks. She is also a Deputy Editor of the Encyclopedia of the Sustainable Development Goals and the International Journal of Sustainability in Higher Education. With a background in Environmental Engineering, her work focuses on the role of universities in advancing sustainability, the impacts of climate change, and the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals.
Dr. João Eustachio is an economist and Director of the Sustainable Development Research and Practice Unit at Hamburg University of Applied Sciences, Germany. His work focuses on sustainability leadership, education for sustainable development, corporate social responsibility, and sustainability policy. He holds a PhD in Business Management and has gained international research experience in Poland and Germany. He also teaches Health Economics at Hamburg University of Applied Sciences and serves as a Visiting Professor at the University of São Paulo, Brazil, where he lectures on Sustainability Leadership. Dr. Eustachio currently coordinates several international projects and networks funded by the European Commission, Erasmus, and DAAD. His doctoral research on sustainability leadership in the context of higher education institutions, which earned him the Baltic University Programme’s 2023 PhD Award for Best Thesis and his longstanding research on the same topic.
Maria Alzira Pimenta Dinis, Habilitation, PhD, MSc is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Science and Technology, University Fernando Pessoa, Porto, Portugal. Graduated in Metallurgical Engineering and Master Science in Materials Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto, Portugal. PhD in Earth Sciences and Habilitation in Ecology and Environmental Health at the Faculty of Science and Technology, University Fernando Pessoa, Portugal. Co-Coordinator of the Earth Sciences doctoral program. Researcher at Fernando Pessoa Research, Innovation and Development Institute (FP-I3ID) and Centro de Ciências do Mar e do Ambiente/Marine and Environmental Sciences Centre (MARE), University of Coimbra in environment-related topics.
