Also mounted on the reverse of the presentation box's cover is a small octavo booklet, 'Essays by Francesco Poli and Corrado Mingardi' 47pp, in very good condition with sharp corners and no marks. Booklet features both a translation of Matisse's text and two new essays: one examining Jazz's relation to other artists' books and the other looking at the history of the artist's book. ; 14 x 2.25 x 17.75.
