"The community of Q'ero is more isolated geographically and culturally than most indigenous Andean communities. best know for its textiles and ritual specialists (paqo). Textiles are the chief artistic expression, made from yarn and handspun from the hair of the community's alpacas llamas and woven on the indigenous style of staked-out loom" (author). Profusely illustrated with vivid color and b/w photographs of textiles a well as scenic photographs and a few maps. Wrappers with very light wear along edges, lightly bumped and creased at bottom right corner. Block with faint yellowing at edges not affecting images.
