Biographie de l'auteur
Jimmy Lee Beasley Sr started his writing career as a sports writer for the Daily Clintonian, in Clinton Indiana. He's covered all levels of sports from junior high to Division 1 baseball. He's worked the NCAA levels in both D-3 and D-1. He's spent time as the "Voice of the Rose-Hulman Engineers" and the voice of Indiana State Baseball. After a stint with the Terre Haute Trib-Star he got into radio. He has always been a writer of sorts, and he's been interested in WWII nearly all his life. For his senior paper Jimmy wrote on the attack by the Japanese on Sunday 7, December 1941. He considers himself a historian, specializing in WWII. A near fatal automobile accident in 1992 left him disabled and unable to pursue his radio career. Jimmy became a full time writer in 1999. He is a single father of 6. His favorite writer is Clive Cussler, only his Dirk Pitt novel. The book covers the attack that Sunday morning in 1941, the story of the USS Indianapolis, the USS Juneau and more. Jimmy's main goal is to retell the stories so they may never happen again. "Jimmy can tell a story and when you hear it you think that he himself was there in the middle of the fight," said Capt. Thomas A Mcleish, pilot of the B-26 named the Powerful Katrina." Jimmy is already working on his next project: Tommy and Anita a true love story. Using love letters sent from 1939-1945.
