Complete in two volumes (viii + 462, 464 + 59pp.), half leather with marbled boards, marbled endpapers, the original soft covers bound in despite fairly dark gray smudging and some foxing. Pages bear modest toning and foxing; each half-title page has binding instructions penciled in a 20th century hand; both bindings are firm and square, the boards only lightly scuffed on the faces and showing only a couple of chips at board edges, the leather faring less well with bare heels and free corners, finish loss over both spines, and surface abrasions around all corners, but nonetheless well-colored and with bright titles at both spines.; 8vo.
