Dublin,1777. Hard Cover. Volume I of 2 volumes. No dust jacket. Front cover missing, back leather cover, attached to spine by about 1 1/2 inch on the bottom. Spine badly worn and torn at top edge. Pages are clean, unmarked and toned, with moderate foxing throughout, not affecting text. Front flyleaf has small article on 'Hydrophobia, or Canine Madness' dated June 22, 1841 pasted on. Name on front . Frontispiece picture of author. Title page has name written in ink. Preface discusses the present state of the British colonies and its civil war with Great Britain. Binding is tight.
