The first edition having run to five printings, Sarson notes "As a nation we have definitely become pickle conscious". Stock toned, moreso to endpapers, but otherwise all in VG internal order. No inscriptions. Blue boards only lightly worn but a little dulled to edges and spine. 8vo. 139pp + ads.
