FROM THE LIBRARY OF ELIZABETH DAVID WITH HER BOOKPLATE ON FIRST PASTEDOWN AND SEVERAL INK NOTES ON YELLOW POSTITS, PROBABLY IN HER HAND. 8vo, slim delicate book, approximately 180 x 120 mm, 7 x 5 inches, illustrations in the text, pages: [4], 5-28, plus 4 pages of adverts, original publisher's cloth and black endpapers. Binding slightly soiled and worn, corners frayed at tips, inner paper hinges cracked, pale brown stain affecting the first 4 pages (see attached images), pale age-browning to text, a fair copy with Elizabeth David's provenance.
