For over a decade, Jürgen Schriewer has been involved in research addressing the 'internationalisation of educational knowledge', thus taking into account the increasing influence of supra-national interrelationships and developments on the semantic construction of culture and education. The contributors to this volume have been inspired by this research project and provide further analyses within this thematic complex.
