A propos de cet article

New York and London: Harper & Brothers Publishers, 1920. The American journalist and newspaper publisher George Creel (1876-1953) served as Woodrow Wilson's chief propagandist during World War One, suiting him here to champion Ireland throwing off the yoke of English oppression. This is a Very Good (Minus) copy of the First Edition [stated "Published July, 1919"] but Harper numerology indicates publishing in 1920, and it is a smaller format. Green cloth binding with titling in black on the spine and front cover. Clean text; 199 pages. Previous-owner signature on the front paste-down; light toning to the endpapers. Rubbed at the margins; darkened spine with a chip at the head. Not a beauty, but a solid-enough reading copy. In an archival plastic protector. [Note: due to a computer crash, this book may also appear with the inventory number 000940]. Second Printing. Hard Cover. Very Good (Minus)/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
