Beautifully bound original 1830 edition of Samuel Rogers's "Italy: A Poem." The book is overall in very good+ condition with just some minor signs of wear and age. The gilt stamped green leather cover only has some light wear. The binding is good and strong. All of the page edges are gilt. The interior is lightly toned from age but mostly nice and clean with some very occasional light foxing and a page or two with some tanning from newsprint previously tucked between the pages. There are some penciled inscriptions & notations to the front blank flyleaf. Along with that there may be the very occasional page with some kind of other minor imperfection. Generally though, it's a really beautiful copy. The book measures approximately 8 1/8 inches by 5 1/2 inches and is 284 pages long with some in-text illustrations.
