A propos de cet article

Parchment boards lettered & decorated in red. Sm.8vo, c.pp50, neat little booklabel on endpaper, excellent copy. With 2 large folding illustrations. Edition Limited to 250 numbered copies. Watson's History Of The Art Of Printing - the first and only edition was issued in 1713, and by Dibdin's time was already a rare book - was one of the first histories of typography in English. His Preface, addressed to the Printers in Scotland, is of particular interest and is reprinted here. **** To confirm availability before ordering, please click the link Ask Bookseller A Question.
