A propos de cet article

pp. xx, 71. Tall 4to. A limited edition copy bound in quarter leather. Twelve hundred copies of this title have been printed for the friends of The Press of A. Colish to mark the 250th anniversary of the Zenger episode. The text has been set in English Monotype Baskerville and printed letterpress on Ragston text especially made in a laid finish for this edition. Corners slightly bumped. A small spot to rear board. Leather a trifle scuffed. Internally immaculate. A very good copy. This book sold with a second book: 'The Printer's Trial / The Case of John Peter Zenger and the Fight for a Free Press', by Gail Jarrow, published 2006 by Calkins Creek Books. It is in very good, to near fine, condition.
