Washington, D.C.: [Government Printing Office], June 3, 1922., 1922. Good. - Octavo, 9-1/8 inches high by 5-3/4 inches wide. Softcover, bound in printed stapled self-wraps. The front cover is lightly soiled and a new staple replaces one of the original ones. 24 pages, illustrated with a 14-1/2 inch high by 19-1/2 inch wide folding map of the "Lake Washington Ship Canal Seattle, Wash." The corners of the pages are bumped and there is a chip to the top inner corner of the map and another along its inner edge. A tear to pages 23/24 has been repaired with clear archival document tape. There is offsetting to the verso of the map which serves as the rear cover. Good.The Secretary of War John W. Weeks transmits the report from the Corps of Engineers exploration of options to widen and deepen the Lake Washington Ship Canal, potentially adding another lock. The detailed folding map shows the view of the full route of the canal from Puget Sound to Lake Washington with insets.
