A propos de cet article

Bochum: Kommunistische Gruppe, 1973-1976. Quartos (29.5 × 21 cm). Original pictorial, predominantly staple-stitched, self-wrappers; each usually between 16 and 20 pp. Nos. 3, 5, 11, 13, and one special issue as a xerox; staples often with rust, leaves slightly toned in places and with signs of wear. Rare periodical produced by a small radical left-wing group that opposed the German Communist Party (DKP). To distinguish itself from the DKP, the first issue states programmatically: "A violent confrontation with the armed forces of the capitalist class (police, military) will therefore be unavoidable for the foreseeable future. (.) The DKP therefore does not prepare the workers for the necessity of class struggle; rather, it sabotages this struggle." Furthermore, the group espoused the Maoist thesis of "social imperialism," according to which the USSR pursued an imperialist policy. The group's strategy was to become involved in various movements and organizations such as trade unions, collectives, and women's groups. Connections existed, among others, with the Maoist "Kommunistische Gruppe" (KB). The "Bochumer Arbeiterzeitung" was produced with the aim of being read not only within the left-wing scene but also by workers. The monthly periodical was distributed, for example, in front of the Opel factory gates. As of April 2026, KVK and OCLC list only one copy worldwide, none in North America. …
