A propos de cet article

This is a selection of the best letters from the 1994 Royal Mail Young Letterwriters competition, all inspired by the word "peace". The letters reflect the variety of subjects children associate with this word. Some of the writers imagine themselves in another century, with one letter written from Charles I to Oliver Cromwell begging for an end to the bloody Civil War. Others comment on the situation in Bosnia, or other warring countries, whilst some describe peaceful places they have visited. The letters are accompanied by paintings and photographs by art students from the Royal College of Art, Central St. Martins College of Art, Camberwell College of Art and Kingston College of Art. The book has been read, but is in excellent condition. Pages are intact and not marred by notes or highlighting. The spine remains undamaged.

We provide affordable, preloved books and media to customers all over the world. A book leaves our collection of over seven million titles and begins a new chapter every two seconds, enabling more goods to be reused. - Ziffit: Through Ziffit, we buy. We give people around the world the opportunity to contribute to the circular economy, earn money and protect the planet, by trading their unwanted books and media. - Shopiago: Through Shopiago, we help others. By sharing the technology that has grown World of Books Group into the business it is today, we’re helping charities increase revenue and reduce waste through re-commerce.…
