Spine gilt completely dulled, cover gilt slightly dulled, a few white spots on the front cover, several white spots on rear cover, previous owners' signatures, some corners turned down by previous owners (withnothing missing), else very good and better. No dust jacket. Per the title page, this is the 1930 Revision by Elizabeth Helm Nitchie [Mrs. Edward B. Nitchie] and Gertrude Torrey. Edward B. Nitchie was the Founder of the New York School for the Hard-of-Hering, then the Nitchie School of Lip-Reading, and was its principle until 1917.
