Original black cloth titled in silver and with a skull design in yellow on spine panel. Light tanning to text block as usual with this book, some very faint spine creasing but a nice clean copy, very good or better. This copy has been supplied with a facsimile dust jacket which has been artifically aged, toned and worn at the edges. First published in the USA by Arkham House in 1945, this is the first publication in England of any book under the H.P. Lovecraft byline, although in point of fact it is mostly written by Derleth from plot outlines and notes left behind by HPL upon his death. N° de réf. du vendeur 313536
