Gilt text block edge. Internally, neat, clean, tight and bright. Lalla Rookh, four narrative poems, forms an Oriental romance. Written by Irish poet Thomas Moore and first published in 1817, the title comes from the heroine of the story arch, the daughter of the 17th-century Mughal emperor, Aurangzeb.
