He started his career at age 21 as a radio announcer at KAGY in Port Sulphur, La, graduated from the university of New Orleans in 1984 was widowed then remarried and has four children.After his television career John worked in the IT world as a network administrator for three Louisiana casinos for thirteen years. John has two grown sons living in Baton Rouge and a son in North Carolina. His daughter Jessica, is a Television Show Producer in New York City, and he has one grandchild named Rowen.
