Swarnima Gorani is a distinguished academician and legal scholar, specialising in both Criminal and Corporate Law. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the Sharda School of Law, Sharda University, she is actively involved in teaching and research while pursuing her PhD in Forensic Psychology from Himachal Pradesh National Law University, Shimla. With a robust academic foundation, Ms Gorani holds a dual degree in Commerce and Law, a postgraduate degree in Law with a concentration in Criminal Law, and a degree in Company Secretaryship. She has participated in and presented her research at numerous international conferences and faculty development programs, emphasising themes such as Artificial Intelligence, Criminal Law, Environmental Law and Forensics. Her contributions extend to multiple book chapters and journal publications, and she has played a key role in organising international conferences. Additionally, she is an active reviewer for Scopus-indexed journals and books. Notably, Ms Gorani has achieved significant accolades, including an All India Rank of 13 in the Company Secretary examination and a Gold Medal for her performance in her Law degree.
