Logos Keeps Readers From Fighting Against The Flow Of Life

Logos sets you up to have uncommon integrity. It helps you be successful in the world by giving you an understanding of how to go with the flow of universal principles.

By living so much of our lives indoors, away from natural processes, we have largely forgotten that our abiding, abundant, and authentic happiness is tied to a lovely and sustainable environment. As a result, we are too often fighting the tide.

Logos corrects that. This second book in the Heartwood Path series describes the structure of the integrity that needs to be rekindled if one expects to flourish.

To that end, Logos offers sixty-eight prescriptions. Specifically, such directions include:

• Transform Yourself So You Can Transform The World
• Move To The Integral Stage Of Spiritual Development
• Move From Theories To Experiences
• Engage In Transformative Cross Training
• Get To Know Your Chakras
• Grow Through Intimacy And “Ultimacy”
• Understand The Mechanisms Of Oneness

It also presents sixty-eight outdoor activities, including:

• Visualizing Your Most Optimistic Future
• Developing Loving Kindness
• Applying The Model Of Integrity To Improving Relationships
• Practicing The Elements Of Meditation
• Cultivating The Freedom Of Thought And Expansion Of Perspective
• Indulging In Earthly Pleasures

Through these directions and activities, Logos gladdens people and regenerates the beauty and sustainability of the natural environment. Through a holistic approach that emphasizes inner work on intentions and ethics plus outer work on behavior and physical systems, Logos prevents you from perpetually swimming against the current of life.

Without regularly communing with natural beings as fellow subjects we as a species have lost our integrity. Logos corrects that too.

Like the other Heartwood Path books, Logos offers a unique and enjoyable course of study that shows ways to simultaneously bring about increased personal happiness and a regenerated local and global environment. It uses eco-psychology, conservation psychology, and communing with natural beings to help participants reawaken to their bond with nature.

Through these means, Logos, presents fundamental truths about wholeness, honor, and rightness. With them, one is ready to work well with others on ecological and social issues.

Don Pierce has spent nearly his whole life working to protect the environment. After decades of work as a professional environmentalist, Pierce concluded that a new approach-one focused on the environmentalist and not just the environment-was needed. When famed conservationist David Brower asked him to write a piece to show environmentalists how to persevere, the result was a series of courses that is good for both environmentalists and anyone seeking happiness and the preservation of nature. This series-the Heartwood Path-helps people to develop spiritually, helps people discover the benefits of communing with nature, and helps people find the happiness that comes from helping others, including natural beings.
