Coming to America with high expectations characteristic of any first time visitor to the country, Jafaar never anticipated a rough start. Not immediately after his arrival any- way. Having heard of America as the beacon of hope to other nationals; a country where things just work perfectly, he had anticipated a smooth start- until his friend Ahmed, with whom earlier arrangements had been made- left him stranded at the airport. But a destiny fashioned out for him will ultimately connect him with Ricky Volpe, a white son of a Church Minister, the son who will later play very important roles in Jafaar's journey to greatness and international fame.
