We are an internet only bookstore specializing in and stocking mystery adventure and detective fiction hence the name of the bookstore. We could have called it D.A.M. books but we didn't think that would have worked, although we do carry a limited amount of other genres. we concentrate on first editions and collectibles and are constantly adding to our inventory. Sept.26th. New lower rates to Canada and The U.K. Oct.8th US rates have returned to normal and the Canada Post strike will not affect the rates, or speed of delivery. Oct.16th. M.A.D. fiction will not be charging duties or tariffs to our U.S. customers on Canadian publications. U.S. and U.K. publications do not require duties or tariffs when shipped to the U.S.

All orders are payable and are taken through ABE books only. If its a large order a discount may apply if discussed beforehand. If you decide you dont want the book , you may contact us and we can discuss a return . All orders are in U.S. dollars including shipping.

Hardcovers generally go out in Brodart protected dustjackets. In rare occurrences we may ask for extra shipping but most of the time what you see is what you pay.
