Folio folder containing 30 single photographic leaves each with a black-&-white dquare photograph (6.5 x 6.5 ins) laid down, and with one page of text describing Taberna and his pregnant wife's trip into Norway during September 1999. Scarce. Born in 1964 in St Jean de Luz, Patrick Taberna was attracted to photography from an early age and began his practice during numerous trips to Europe, Asia, the Middle East and the United States, with Nicolas Bouvier's "L'usage du monde" in his pocket. When he arrived in Paris in 1987, he assiduously attended the 30×40 club led by Jean Luc Lemaitre and Francis Richard. Taberna won the Fnac honourable mention in 2000 with 'Magnetic North'.

Surrey Hills Books was set up to offer high quality books for gifts. Our focus is on Modern First Editions & Signed Books, though we also have attractive offerings in many other areas, including, Art, Design & Photography, Children's books and selected Antiquarian books & Fine Bindings. Our shop is located in Cranleigh, a small but vibrant market town with a village atmosphere, set at the foot of the Surrey Hills. We are a small family run business owned by a husband & wife team, Richard and Penny Cornelius. Richard was formerly co-owner of Worlds End Bookshop in Chelsea and Penny worked for more than ten years for Surrey County Council in the library service.
