Biographie de l'auteur: Sally Crabtree specialises in writing rhymes, songs and stories for younger children. She lives in the fishing village of Mousehole with her husband, artist Tom Rickman, and their two children, Daisy and Milo. Her greatest passions are books, poetry and writing songs. Sally has become well known in England for her original creation, the Poetree, a copper structure from which children pick fruit and then listen to the song or story connected with it. Sally spends her time writing and performing for adults and children. Magic Train Ride is her first project with Barefoot Books. Sonia Esplugas lives in Buenos Aires, Argentina, with her husband and two cats. After studying Food Science and Technology in the Universitat de Barcelona, Sonia took an Illustration course at Escola de la Dona, also in Barcelona. She continues to take part in several drawing, illustration and literary workshops in Argentina. 'For me, Buenos Aires and its way of living is quite inspiring. In Argentina, everything changes all the time and anything is possible. People here are so human and creative, and I have learned a lot from them.'
