Stated third impression, printed in June 1965, two months after the first printing. 7 5/8" X 5 1/4". 221pp. Presents beautifully in protective archival sleeved wrap-around dust jacket designed by Richard Chopping with original price of 18s net to front flap. Gentle bumping, tiny open tears, and rubbing to corners and head and tail of spine of dust jacket. Bound in full cloth-textured black paper over boards, with spine lettered in bright gilt. Gentle rubbing and bumping to extremities, else fine. Spot of soiling to top edge of text block. Green patterned endpapers. Binding is firm, sound, and square. Pages are very gently age-toned else clean and unmarked. A very presentable and well-preserved early printing of the twelfth and final novel in Ian Fleming's James Bond series and thirteenth Bond book overall, the basis for the 1974 film of the same name, the second film to star Roger Moore as the iconic British Secret Service operative James Bond and the ninth in the James Bond series produced by Eon Productions.
