Volume 1: Prelims + 304, *305-*312, 305-336;Volume 2: Prelims + 202, *203-*206, 203-416;; both bound in brown leather boards. The contents are in very good condition, Volume 1 has a little foxing to the first few pages, the endpapers of both Volumes are browned. The boards are in good condition, albeit cracked to the edges and along the spine. The spine title of Volume 2 is loosely inserted into the book. David Garrick was an English actor, playwright, theatre manager and producer who influenced nearly all aspects of theatrical practice throughout the 18th century and was a pupil and friend of Dr Samuel Johnson.
