There is a certain kind of change that comes with age. Perhaps, best described as a gradual change that is more like an awareness. A type of solace that comes without feeling isolated. A sense of wakefulness you might call an extra sense. A sense of being connected. Libraries are filed with profound stories. Truthful fiction. written between the lines of science and science-fiction books. Nevertheless, my story still has something for all types of readers. Although, no matter how many times I look back at this story. I come to realize. This is one story that is undeniably, a love story.

John B Lester is a nurse by profession. A storyteller by nature. An adventurer at heart. And a writer with a purpose. From an early age, long before I ever began my career in nursing I can still remember that burning desire to explore the things beyond which we were taught. To learn from the many cultures our world had to offer. A desire that led me to my path in travel nursing. One which started a journey of a lifetime. Within that journey, I learned mostly about the people I met and cared for. Those people taught me that kindness, laughter, and compassion was the universal caring that people needed the most. Those are the fundamental values that makes me proud to be a nurse/writer. No matter which path my future should lead to.
