A guide to the design and integration of Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANETs)―networks that can be quickly set up in areas where little or no infrastructure existsThese networks will provide temporary wireless communications, almost instantaneously, for applications in the field where setting up a permanent network isn’t feasible.
Includes detailed coverage of the new IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force) standard for wireless ad hoc networking.
