A propos de cet article
First edition thus. Bound in publisher's black cloth elaborately stamped in silver on the upper board and spine; lacking the dust jacket. Near Fine with light wear, slight bumping to corners, modest rubbing to silver, faint spotting to textblock edges. Contemporary ownership at front pastedown, minor toning and offsetting from plates throughout contents. A sharp copy of Melville's classic, illustrated by Rockwell Kent.
