Folio., xiv, (2), 259 pp. inc. index. c.p. photo portrait pl. of artist, 9 monochrome plates with tissue guards and 58 colour plates with tissue guards. with Addenda et Corrigenda sheet. t.e.g., gift inscription dated august 1974 to front free endpaper, foredges lightly browned and foxed. Endpapers lightly browned and foxed. Half title, addenda sheet and recto of frontis foxed otherwise sporadic to foxing throughout, printed side of plates clean on the whole with foxing on the plain sides, very good minus in original green cloth gilt, cloth marked and slightly grubby, two small blisters on spine and some small indentations to lower edge of lower board, corners lightly bumped, good.
