A propos de cet article

A sammelband of theological and historical works that, although issued separately, are typically found bound together due to their use as school text-books in the seventeenth century. This is the scarcer of the three works. Francis Rous was an English politician and Puritan. He wrote many theological and devotional works. In a full calf binding. Rebacked with different contemporary boards laid down. Externally, rubbed to the spine and to the extremities with loss to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are age toned, with just the odd spots. Final leaf of 'Archaeologie Atticae' has been laid down on a new leaf due to loss at the blank bottom half of the page. Good.…
