Complete in 6 volumes. Size 8.5 x 5.5 inches. Bound in contemporary full blue polished calf leather fine bindings, gilt line paneled boards, with raised banding and gilt decoration to spines, red and brown leather spine labels lettered in gilt. In good condition. Some light wear to covers, spines and spine edges a little rubbed. Volume I & III one spine label has a little loss lower corner. Each volume frontis and title page are a little marked top and bottom edge. Some light tanning pages. Else overall pages clean and tight. 24 steel-engraved portraits, 38 battle diagrams, and 28 folding plates of abstracts. Illustrated with four folding plates and four portraits to volume I; three folding plates and four portraits to volume II; six folding plates and three portraits to volume III; two folding plates and four portraits to volume IV; four folding plates and four portraits to volume VI, and nine folding plates and five portraits to volume VI.
