Illustrated from original drawings by Thomas Allom with historical and topographical descriptions by Thomas Rose with thirty-five monochrome plates depicting landscape views. The covering of the spine has come away as shown in the photo. Rubbing to the edges of the boards. Internally the pages remain in good condition with some occasional tanning.
