Recent maroon half morocco, with raised bands, gilt titles to twin black labels, and further gilt tooling to spines. Matching cloth over boards; all edges untrimmed. Nice clean copies with a little toning to edges and margins. Some paper repairs to final four leaves of 'Mansfield Park'. Presented in an attractive new leather binding. A fine edition compiled by the noted Austen scholar Robert William Chapman (1881-1960), containing all of Austen's famous novels, as well as extensive appendixes and addenda, including 'Miss Austen's English', 'Modes of Address', 'Carriages and Travel', 'The Topography of Bath', a biographical note on the author, and 'The Mysteries of Udolpho'.
