Dust jacket with colorfully illustrated pictorial front panel; bumping and nicks as well as short tears at edges, spine panel toned with shallow chipping at ends and 5cm tear at heel, vertical creases to front flap, small dark stain near center of front flap with associated stains to front endpapers; dj now presented in a mylar Brodart protector. Dark blue cloth with vibrant gilt stamping to spine. Front free endpaper creased; past owner's personal blind-stamp to title leaf; a few small stain to interior pages which overall still remain quite clean. Binding is firm. Else a very good copy in a good+ dust jacket. With nine b/w plates (including frontispiece) on five unpaged leaves and Index.
