Ozzy Ox: Moody Morning, by Callen Kropp, is a 42-page rhyming picture book for children ages 2-8 that warmly embraces children and encourages them to make better choices. It shows children that acceptance and forgiveness are more likely when they admit their mistakes.

À propos des auteurs: Callen grew up and lives in North Dakota, where her family, which includes her husband, children and grandchildren, own a bison ranch. An avid reader from the time she was a child, Callen remembers especially enjoying animal character books, and believes they spawned her lifelong dream of becoming an author. Her career in corporate communications allowed her to enjoy writing in a variety of formats, and she is often called in her personal life to write silly and serious rhyme. She believes that read-aloud, rhyming children's picture books are especially effective in igniting imagination and creativity.

Born in Medelia, Minn., Emily grew up in Fargo, N. Dak., where she began painting as a teen. She paints on a variety of surfaces using a wide array of mediums, but especially enjoys illustrating children's books. As a busy wife, mother and grandmother, Emily knows the joy that picture books bring to children. A passionate lake lover, Emily enjoys time with family and friends at their Minnesota summer cabin. Her West Fargo home is a testament to her passion for painting and art; she has also adorned her backyard chicken coop with vibrant designs for the flock of chickens she fondly calls "her girls."
