Decorated by publisher's device on title page. A work describing an episode of maritime history, the seizure by convicts of the brig Cyprus off Van Diemen's Land and her subsequent sailing on a epic voyage to New Zealand, Tonga, Japan before her scuttling in the China Sea. By two Australian authors, Frank Clune (1894-1971), travel writer and biographer and Percy Reginald Stephensen (1901-65), writer and publisher, friend of D. H.
