“I can’t tell God this!”
“Why are you even praying about that?”
“God doesn’t want to hear about that stuff!”
Does your prayer life suffer when any of these come to mind while in prayer? If so, you are not alone.
Unfortunately, praying authentically to God can seem wrong and even off limits. We fear real conversations with God out of fear — the fear that God is angry; the fear that God isn't listening; or the fear that God won't forgive. When we “don't have it all together”, it is tempting to think God doesn’t want any involvement in our lives. When we lack understanding of God’s true nature, we limit His power to transform our lives through prayer.
“Our perspective of God must change in order for His true nature and love for us to be revealed.”
In “Pen & Paper = Release: Poetic Prayers For The Weary Soul,” you will experience authentic poetic prayers spoken to God about my life of challenges, fears, and confessions. You will also experience, throughout each prayer, how my prayer life powerfully transformed the more I opened up to God. Allow God to do the same for you! Embark upon a new journey as I challenge you to sincerely and intentionally pour out to God.
Be prepared to experience a powerfully renewed and transformed prayer life!
