The third section includes standing orders for medications, laboratory procedures and radiological procedures. the final section is the largest section of the book and includes 142 comprehensive paediatric triage protocols. The chief complaint and presenting symptoms of the paediatric patient are presented in four categories: critical; acute; urgent; or non-urgent. Each protocol is presented on a two-page spread for quick and efficient access.
